On the Pokrovsk direction, Russia deploys more experienced assault teams — military
On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces have changed their tactics and are now deploying more experienced assault teams of 5–7 soldiers. The enemy is also using naval infantry reserves.
This was reported on Espreso by Volodymyr Cherniak, an officer of the “Rubezh” Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
According to Cherniak, earlier assaults were mostly carried out by mobilized soldiers with low levels of training, operating in groups of 2–3 people. Now the situation has changed: Russia is using professional naval infantry units, which allows them to assault Ukrainian positions more effectively.
Cherniak also noted that Russian forces exploit weather conditions that make it difficult for Ukrainian defenders to respond effectively to breakthrough attempts. They deploy specially trained units in standard camouflage and with regular weapons to infiltrate Ukrainian positions.
Over the past 24 hours, 234 combat engagements were recorded along the entire front line. Ukrainian forces continue to successfully repel Russian attacks and inflict significant losses on the occupiers.
According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces have suffered substantial losses on all fronts.
