In the Sumy region, rescue workers came under a second Russian attack while fighting a fire
In the Hlukhiv community in Sumy Oblast, Russian troops launched a second attack on rescue workers as they were extinguishing a fire that broke out following a drone attack.
Firefighters were working at the scene of a fire in a warehouse when another explosion occurred near a fire truck.
According to the service, the rescue workers managed to leave the danger zone before the second strike, so there were no casualties among them.
Despite the incident, the fire was completely extinguished, and all sources of the blaze were put out.
The State Emergency Service notes that such incidents once again demonstrate the practice of follow-up strikes on facilities where emergency services are working to deal with the aftermath of attacks.
