Russians attacked a hospital in Kherson; five medical workers were wounded
On the morning of June 25, Russian troops struck a hospital in Kherson with a drone. Five medical workers were injured as a result of the attack, according to the regional military administration.
“Five employees of the medical facility were injured in the enemy strike. Preliminary reports indicate they sustained blast injuries. The victims are currently under medical supervision,” the statement said.
Regional authorities also noted that a woman was admitted to the hospital after being injured the previous day during a Russian “Shahed” drone attack in Kherson’s Central District.
“The 62-year-old Kherson resident suffered a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed head injury. Her condition is moderate. Currently, medical staff are conducting examinations and providing the victim with the necessary care,” officials said.
On the night of June 25, Russia carried out a large-scale airstrike on Ukraine, using a ballistic missile and dozens of attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed or intercepted most of the targets, but a missile and several drones were confirmed to have struck their targets.
Starting in the evening of June 24, Russian troops carried out nearly 20 attacks on five districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region, using drones, artillery, and a guided aerial bomb. The shelling caused damage to infrastructure.
On June 25, rescue workers extinguished a fire at an industrial facility in the Poltava region that was caused by a Russian attack. Emergency responders continued their work after the facility was struck by enemy weapons.
