A female employee of the thermal power plant was killed during an attack in Dnipro

On the night of June 1, 45-year-old Natalia Kotenkova was killed during a massive Russian shelling of Dnipro. 

She worked as a senior specialist at the Customer Service Center of the municipal utility company “Teploenergo.” 

She fell victim to yet another nighttime attack by the occupiers on the peaceful city.

Natalia Kotenkova dedicated most of her life to working in the city’s heating sector. She began her professional career as a heating system inspector and later became a senior specialist in heat energy sales. 

She was a graduate of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.

Colleagues remember her as an extremely responsible, attentive, cheerful, and sincere person. According to them, she always performed her duties conscientiously and treated visitors and employees with great respect. 

The deceased is survived by her elderly mother, for whom she was the only daughter.

“It is impossible to find words that could ease the pain of this loss. War takes the most precious thing—human lives. It takes good, sincere, and hardworking people who were meant to live, love, dream, and rejoice in every new day. The company extends its sincere condolences to Natalia’s mother, her family, and loved ones,” the company’s statement reads.
