A concentration of Russian armoured vehicles destroyed near Pokrovsk
The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful special operation in the Pokrovsk direction, destroying a significant number of Russian armoured vehicles that the enemy had prepared for assault operations.
This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.
According to the corps, Ukrainian intelligence, together with the aerial reconnaissance of the 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “Ptakhy Madyara,” Air Assault Forces units, and the coordination center of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelia,” identified a large concentration of enemy equipment near Pokrovsk.
To disrupt the offensive, the strike units of the National Guard’s OUSP “Lasar’s Group” carried out precision strikes. As a result, a “Osa” surface-to-air missile system, two tanks, an armoured fighting vehicle, and military transport carrying ammunition were destroyed. Several other units of equipment, including tanks, armoured vehicles, and transport, were also damaged.
The Air Assault Forces note that the enemy had repeatedly tried to concentrate armoured vehicles in this direction. Thanks to continuous aerial monitoring and the coordinated work of the units, the Defense Forces systematically thwart Russia’s plans and reduce the threat to Ukrainian positions and settlements.
Additionally, operators of the unmanned systems battalion of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as the “Steel Lions,” demonstrated the situation in Lyman, Kramatorsk district, posting footage on the social network Telegram.
The most difficult situation on the front remains in the Pokrovsk and Kupiansk directions.
