Submarine in Novorossiysk has still not moved since the SBU drone attack on 15 December
A recent satellite image of Novorossiysk shows that the submarine attacked by a Ukrainian underwater drone remains in the same position.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty journalist Mark Krutov, who published the image, notes that the Russian side continues to claim that the submarine suffered no damage during the Ukrainian attack, which took place 35 days ago.
As a reminder, on 15 December the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a successful special operation in the port of Novorossiysk, striking a Russian submarine. For the first time in history, “Sub Sea Baby” underwater drones attacked a Project 636.3 Varshavyanka-class submarine (NATO classification: Kilo), inflicting critical damage and effectively putting it out of combat service.
