Increase in enemy attacks: nearly 250 battles on the front in a single day

On November 27, the General Staff of Ukraine recorded 247 combat engagements, most of which took place in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions.
This was reported in the update by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian forces intensified their actions, carrying out one missile strike, 53 airstrikes, and more than 3,400 shellings. This demonstrates a high intensity of fighting on the front, requiring constant response from Ukrainian forces.

Thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian defenders, the enemy is being held back: during the past day, 59 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction were repelled, and a significant amount of equipment was destroyed, including tanks, armored vehicles, and drones. This information highlights the resilience and combat capability of Ukrainian troops, who continue to resist Russian aggression and inflict considerable losses on the enemy.

During the past day, the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one area where enemy personnel were concentrated.

In the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, eight combat engagements occurred over the past day. The enemy carried out five airstrikes using 11 guided air bombs and conducted 140 shellings, one of them from a multiple-launch rocket system.

In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, the enemy attempted six times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were six enemy attacks. Ukrainian defenders repelled assaults toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Mala Shapkivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 13 enemy attempts to advance near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Vyimka, Fedorivka, and toward Zakytne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks near Chasiv Yar and toward Bondarne.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 31 attacks toward Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, and near Pleshchiivka and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 59 assault actions near Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Zatyshok, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoeconomichne, Pishchane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, and toward Hryshyne and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy conducted 29 attacks near Yalta, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Rybne, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Vorone, Stepove, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Krasnohirske, and toward Oleksiivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, and toward Dobropillia, Pryluka, Varvarivka, and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv direction, 10 attacks were repelled toward Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Stepnohirske, Prymorske, and in the areas of Kamianske and Stepove.

In the Dnipro River (Prydniprovskyi) direction, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.

The situation on the front remains tense, and further enemy actions may lead to new attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses. The response of Ukrainian forces—as well as potential international support—will be crucial in this challenging situation.
