Ukraine's air defense forces shot down and neutralized 138 enemy drones overnight
On the night of September 11, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 161 strike drones of various types and the S8000 “Banderole” missile-carrying UAV. As of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 138 enemy drones.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy deployed the S8000 “Banderol,” 161 Shahed-type strike UAVs—including jet-powered drones—as well as “Gerberas” and “Parody” decoy drones.
The launches were carried out from Russian territory and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The UAVs were flying from the Orel, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, as well as from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region and the Gvardeysk district in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
At the same time, hits were recorded at 19 locations. Downed drones and their debris were found at three additional sites.
As of the time this information was released, the attack was ongoing, and enemy UAVs remained in Ukrainian airspace.

As a reminder, the Ozon logistics hub in Saratov caught fire following a drone attack.
Earlier, an oil refinery caught fire in Volgograd following an attack.
As of the morning of September 10, 2026, the Russian army’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion stand at approximately 1,502,390 military personnel. In the past 24 hours alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost another 1,520 servicemen.
The day before, 221 combat engagements were recorded along the front lines. The enemy launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Defense Forces repelled 21 assaults, and Russian troops lost more than 60 occupiers.
