Air defense forces shot down more than 80% of jet-powered drones in a single day

On October 1, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 97 strike UAVs, 66 of which were Gerber jet-powered UAVs, as well as other types of drones.

According to preliminary data, air defense forces shot down or neutralized 78 UAVs during that period, 55 of which were jet-powered, meaning that 83% of the jet-powered UAVs were neutralized.

The Air Force warned that as of 6:00 p.m., there were about 10 attack drones in the airspace and urged the public not to ignore the alert.
