Putin Has Taken Every Possible Precaution Against an Assassination Attempt: An Expert Explains How the Dictator Protects His Power
Over more than 25 years in power, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has virtually purged the political arena of potential opponents and created a system that makes it significantly more difficult to carry out an assassination attempt against him.
This was stated by military expert and former SBU officer Ivan Stupak on Radio NV.
According to him, there are no people in Putin’s inner circle who have unrestricted access to him. Meetings take place only after lengthy coordination, and the Russian president himself has limited his public appearances as much as possible.
The expert noted that Putin uses armored vehicles, a decoy plane, and an armored train, and also has dozens of residences. Because of this, it is difficult to determine his exact whereabouts.
Stupak believes that there is currently no one in Putin’s inner circle who would be interested in removing him from power. On the contrary, members of the Russian elite are interested in preserving the current system of power.
