Russia shells Chernihiv region 32 times in one day
On April 8, Russian forces carried out 32 attacks on the Chernihiv region. A total of 42 explosions were recorded as a result of the strikes.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
According to him, throughout the day, Russian forces used FPV drones to attack border settlements, targeting communication infrastructure in particular. In Semenivka, a sports ground was struck.
Chaus also reported that this morning a Russian strike drone hit a private household in one of the villages of the Kyselivka community. A fire broke out, damaging a house, outbuildings, and a vehicle. Emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze.
Earlier, a drone attack in the Chernihiv region injured two women.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed strikes on a Russian frigate and several key military facilities.
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Russian forces are reportedly forcibly mobilizing workers from industrial enterprises.
