Russia Attacks Dnipro with Drones, High-Rise Buildings Damaged and Injuries Reported
During the night of March 9–10, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on Dnipro. As a result of the attack, at least eight high-rise residential buildings were damaged, hundreds of windows were shattered, and people were injured.
This was reported by the city’s mayor, Borys Filatov.
“In Dnipro, as a result of another Russian attack, at least eight high-rise buildings were damaged. Several hundred windows in the buildings were smashed,” Filatov wrote.
He also noted that details regarding other possible damage are still being clarified.
The mayor added that a tent has been set up at the strike site to receive requests from affected residents. Municipal services will begin restoration work in the coming hours.








According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, ten people were injured as a result of the attack, including a 12-year-old boy.
The press service of the regional administration published photos showing the aftermath of the strikes. The images show significant damage to residential buildings both outside and inside, including shattered windows.
It should be recalled that Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv during the night of March 10. A drone strike damaged private houses and outbuildings.
Earlier in the day, Russian forces carried out strikes on the energy infrastructure of Sumy Oblast, leaving some settlements without electricity.
Previously, Russian forces attacked a car in the region, killing two people.
Russian drones also struck the centre of Novhorod-Siverskyi, leaving three people wounded.
