Russia attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with drones, causing fires at industrial facilities
In the Khmelnytskyi region, fires broke out at several civilian sites following a nighttime attack by Russian drones.
Rescue workers quickly responded to the strikes; there are currently no reports of casualties.
“In the Khmelnytskyi region, fires broke out at four locations on the premises of civilian enterprises due to an attack by Russian drones,” the agency noted.
According to rescue workers, all fires were quickly contained and extinguished.
Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, reported that during the nighttime attack, air defense forces shot down or suppressed nine enemy drones over the region.
Despite the successful work of the air defense forces, damage to facilities on the territory of enterprises in the Khmelnytskyi district was recorded as a result of the attack.
As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.
State Emergency Service units worked at the sites of the strikes and debris falls, clearing up the aftermath of the Russian attack and securing the damaged facilities.
The extent of the damage is currently being assessed, and the affected areas are being inspected.
