Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones; there are casualties

On the night of September 9–10, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with strike drones. The enemy attack caused fires and damage in the city’s Central-City and Saksagansk districts. As of 6:44 a.m., five people are known to have been injured.

According to the mayor, Russian drones attacked the city at five locations.

As of the time of this report, firefighting operations were still underway at two of those locations.

The strikes damaged private homes and high-rise residential buildings, as well as educational, cultural, and business facilities.

An emergency rescue operation is underway in the city, with utility services and rescue workers working to address the aftermath of the attack.

Initially, Oleksandr Vilkul reported two people injured.

“Currently, there are two injured people—one in serious condition and one in moderate condition. They are now in the operating room, and doctors are providing all necessary care,” the mayor wrote.

It later became known that a total of five people were injured as a result of the nighttime attack.

Two of the victims have been hospitalized. A 42-year-old man is in serious condition, while doctors assess the condition of a 41-year-old man as moderate.

Doctors continue to provide them with the necessary care.

The authorities are organizing aid for residents of the affected areas.

“The relief headquarters for the Central City District will be set up near the nearest fountain—locals will know where it is. Assistance will include building materials, applications for aid from the city, and utility crews,” Vilkul said.

Residents of damaged buildings are being promised building materials, assistance from the city, and support from utility services.

The Russian attack caused damage to residential and civilian infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, and rescue workers and utility crews continue to work on the ground.

The mayor of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported on the consequences of the attack.

In addition, the enemy launched strikes on the Kholodnohirskyi, Kyivskyi, and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a strike on an apartment building was recorded, and two people were injured.

In Khmelnytskyi, a fire broke out at one of the markets following another drone attack. Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn reported that information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.

In Novy Urengoy, Russia, reports emerged of damage to a gas condensate processing plant. Following this, the Ukrainian company Fire Point published a cryptic message about drones that allegedly traveled over 3,300 km and struck the target.
