Russia launched a missile attack on the Poltava region, killing two people

The Russian army launched an attack on the Poltava district, killing two people and bringing the number of casualties to 14, including six children

According to him, the enemy attacked the Poltava district the day before. 

Strikes were recorded on the premises of two enterprises, damaging production buildings, vehicles, and nearby residential buildings.

“The number of injured has risen to 13, including 6 children. Unfortunately, a person’s body was found under the rubble. Another person died in the hospital, the head of the Regional Military Administration noted.

Later, the State Emergency Service clarified that the total number of victims was 14.

As a result of the Russian attack on the Poltava community, fires broke out at several industrial sites, which rescue workers quickly extinguished.

The shelling also caused an emergency power outage. Power company crews are currently working to restore electricity to consumers.

Work is ongoing at the sites of the strikes to address the aftermath of the attack and assess the damage caused.

This was reported by Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

Since the evening, Russian troops have carried out more than 20 attacks on three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using aerial bombs, drones, and artillery. As a result of the enemy strikes, one person was killed and nine others were wounded.

On June 20, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with nine guided aerial bombs, killing at least five people and wounding eleven others, according to local sources.

On the night of June 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of Russian military targets. Among the targets was a bridge near Henichesk, which the occupiers use to transport equipment and resupply their troops between occupied Crimea and the southern front.

In Taganrog, Russia, a power substation that supplied electricity to the “Atlant-Aero” defense enterprise was damaged. As a result, production lines involved in the manufacture of drones were disrupted.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, fires broke out at a number of energy and infrastructure facilities following a nighttime attack. In particular, fires were reported at the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant and at gas facilities in various regions of the peninsula.
