Russia attacked port infrastructure in Odesa region; one killed, two injured

Russian forces struck port and industrial infrastructure in Odesa region overnight. One person was killed, and two others were injured.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

“At night, the enemy again hit port and industrial facilities in Odesa region. One person was killed, and two others were injured,” Kiper said.

According to him, the attack damaged administrative, production, and warehouse buildings. Fires broke out at some sites but were promptly extinguished by emergency services.

“Unfortunately, one person died—the body was recovered from the rubble. Two others were injured and are receiving necessary medical care,” the head of Odesa RMA added.

He also noted that all emergency services are working on site. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the strike and document further war crimes by the Russian Federation are ongoing. Recently, Russian forces have significantly increased attacks on Odesa and the surrounding region, targeting port and energy infrastructure.

For context, over the past day, Russian troops carried out 705 strikes on 25 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, injuring five people in Zaporizhzhia city.
