Russia preparing new massive strikes, enemy wants to exploit cold — Zelensky
Russia may be preparing a new massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine, attempting to take advantage of the cold weather.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address on January 12.
“Please pay close attention to air raid alerts. Intelligence indicates that the Russians are preparing a new massive strike — drones to exhaust air defenses and missiles. They want to take advantage of the cold. This strike could happen in the coming days,” the president said.
Zelensky also reported that he discussed with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko the restoration of services in all regions of the country.
“We agreed with the Prime Minister to develop a special program to support people working directly in repair crews — operating 24/7 under the most difficult conditions. The government will propose measures to significantly increase their pay for each month of winter,” the president added.
