Russia Attempts to Intensify Assaults Near Pokrovsk
Russian forces are increasing offensive operations around the Pokrovsk agglomeration in Donetsk region, deploying more infantry assault groups and drone operators. This was reported by the “East” military grouping.
Despite constant pressure, Ukrainian troops continue to hold positions north of Pokrovsk and maintain defensive lines near the settlement of Kotlyne. Meanwhile, Russian forces are attempting to step up assaults in the areas of Rodynske and Hryshyne, regularly reinforcing these sectors with additional troops.
In the southeastern part of Hryshyne, intense small-arms engagements continue between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the strategic goal of the invaders is currently to seize additional territory to create a so-called “buffer zone” within Dnipropetrovsk region.
Ukrainian forces are adjusting their training to effectively counter enemy drones and other modern battlefield threats.
