Russia struck a DTEK substation in Odesa region, leaving 90,000 households without power
Last night, on December 12, a DTEK substation in the Odesa region came under attack by Russian drones. The enemy also targeted a facility belonging to another energy company.
This was reported by DTEK on Telegram.
“Last night, Russia struck a DTEK substation in Odesa region. This is already the twentieth substation in the region to sustain significant damage,” the company said in its statement.
According to DTEK, energy workers managed to switch to backup circuits and restore electricity for 40,000 households, while another 90,000 remain temporarily without power.
The press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) published photos of fires that erupted as a result of the overnight attacks on Odesa and the region. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, and SES psychologists provided assistance to 14 residents of nearby houses, including three children.




During the night of December 12, Russia carried out a massive strike using attack drones against the Odesa region. Energy infrastructure and several commercial facilities were damaged.
That same night, a drone-missile strike from Russia hit Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, setting five residential buildings on fire.
