Russia struck Odesa region with drones, damaging an energy facility; parts of the region left without power

During the night of December 12, Russia carried out a massive attack using strike drones against the Odesa region. As a result of the shelling, energy infrastructure and several commercial facilities were damaged.
This was reported on Telegram by Odesa Regional Administration head Oleh Kiper.

According to Kiper, “the enemy massively attacked the Odesa district with strike UAVs. Despite the active work of air-defense forces, an energy infrastructure facility was damaged. Warehouse premises, an administrative building, and a garage were also damaged. Fires broke out at the site, which were promptly extinguished by rescuers.”

Kiper also noted that “because of the attack, several settlements are temporarily without electricity. Repair work is already under way. Critical infrastructure is operating on generators.”

"SES  psychologists provided assistance to 14 people from nearby houses, including three children. Fortunately, there are no dead or injured,” rescuers reported.

Law enforcement agencies are documenting yet another war crime committed by Russia against the civilian population of the region.

On the night of December 12, a drone missile strike from Russia also hit Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, setting five residential buildings on fire.
