Russia attacked Chernihiv with drones, wounding two children

On the evening of August 25, Russian troops attacked a residential area in Chernihiv with drones, injuring four people, including two children. The victims included a 62-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man, and two boys aged 10 and 12; one private home was burned down, and five others were damaged.

 

Four civilians were injured as a result of the enemy attack: a 62-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man, and two boys aged 10 and 12.

One private residence was completely destroyed by fire, and at least five neighboring homes sustained damage. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene, documenting the consequences of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation and collecting physical evidence.

As a reminder, 30,000 customers in the Chernihiv region and in Slavutych were left without power following a Russian attack.

As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces attacked a train station in the Kharkiv region with a drone while a passenger train carrying evacuees was stopped. Two women were killed in the strike, and five others were injured.

On August 23, Russian forces attacked the locomotive of passenger train No. 147, running between Zhytomyr and Odesa, with a jet-powered drone. The train was stopped and passengers evacuated before the strike, so neither passengers nor railway workers were injured.
