Russia attacks Dnipropetrovsk region 16 times, injuries and damage reported
Russian forces carried out 16 attacks over the past 24 hours in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the shelling, two people were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration.
The occupying forces used artillery, drones, and aerial bombs in the attacks.
In the Nikopol district, the following areas came under fire:
Nikopol and the Marhanets community.
In the Synelnykove district, strikes targeted Synelnykove, Shakhtarske, and the Mezhivska, Vasylkivska, Mykolaivska, and Pokrovska communities.
The attacks damaged an administrative building, a fire station, around ten private houses, and outbuildings.
Two men, aged 65 and 40, were injured.
“The 65-year-old victim has been hospitalized in moderate condition. The 40-year-old will receive outpatient treatment,” the regional head said.
The situation in the region remains tense, as emergency responders and medics continue to deal with the aftermath of the attacks.
As of the evening of March 19, Russian forces had carried out around 30 attacks on two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using artillery and drones.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, causing damage and injuries.
Russian forces also struck four Ukrposhta branches, injuring employees.
