Russia attacked Kyiv: A warehouse caught fire in the Svyatoshynsky District

A warehouse building caught fire in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky district following a Russian drone attack. Rescue workers and other emergency services are on the scene, working to address the aftermath of the enemy attack.
An air raid alert was declared in the capital at 5:05 a.m. A few minutes later, local residents reported explosions. By 5:09 a.m., the air raid alert was lifted in Kyiv.
The Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed the fire. According to the administration, the warehouse caught fire following a drone attack in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
At this time, the Kyiv City Military Administration has not reported any fatalities or injuries resulting from this incident. There is also no official information yet regarding the extent of the fire, the nature of the damage to the building, or the cause of the fire, aside from its connection to the enemy attack. Emergency services continue to work at the scene. Details regarding the consequences of the strike and possible damage to civilian infrastructure are being clarified.
As a reminder, Russian forces attacked seven infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region over the past 24 hours.
Russian strikes damaged 16 gas stations in the capital. At the same time, city officials stated on September 15 that no fuel shortage is expected for Kyiv residents.
A new air threat alert system has been operational in Kyiv since September 6. Now, city residents will receive notifications not only about the fact of a threat but also about its type—drone, missile, or combined.
