Russia is promoting a culture of war on a massive scale in kindergartens
In the aggressor country’s preschools, an active campaign has begun to promote service in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) forces among the youngest children.
Children are not only told about the work of UAV operators but are also shown the drones themselves, with their “purpose” explained during so-called “educational sessions.”
The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) emphasizes that such measures are part of the Kremlin’s systematic strategy to prepare a new generation for future wars.
Formal meetings with military personnel are, in fact, a tool of psychological influence aimed at blurring the line between civilian life and combat operations.
“In reality, this is about the deliberate militarization of children from a very young age. Children are being taught to view war as the norm and military service as a natural and desirable path,” the Center’s statement notes.
Such a policy is aimed at shaping a worldview loyal to the army, where violence is perceived as an everyday occurrence.
The Center emphasizes that such activities in kindergartens have nothing to do with patriotic education in the classical sense.
This is outright “brainwashing” that normalizes the cult of weapons and the army as the only correct and heroic institution, one that is beyond doubt or criticism.
The occupying authorities aim to raise a generation that will be ready to join the ranks of the armed forces in the future without hesitation.
The use of modern technologies, such as drones, makes this propaganda more appealing to children, turning instruments of death into elements of play and “fun leisure activities.”
“The goal is to raise a generation that, from childhood, perceives the army as a heroic institution, does not question war, and is ready to join the ranks of Russian troops in the future,” add experts from the Center for Public Diplomacy.
This indicates the aggressor’s long-term plans to sustain its mobilization resources through ideological indoctrination.
As a reminder, Russia is introducing a course on “love for the motherland” for elementary school students.
Russia is also militarizing children in the occupied territories.
