Russia struck a hospital in Sumy with drones where children are being treated
On Thursday, February 13, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on Sumy, including targeting the grounds of a medical facility where children are receiving treatment.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
Shortly after 12:00 p.m., the enemy attacked the hospital territory with two strike UAVs at an interval of about half an hour. At the time of the attack, children and medical staff were in a shelter.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties — no one sought medical assistance. However, dozens of windows in the hospital building were damaged. The full extent of the consequences is still being clarified.
“The threat remains. The enemy continues to attack the Sumy Oblast community with drones. Stay in shelters,” Hryhorov emphasized.
Earlier that morning, Russian forces dropped two FAB-250 aerial bombs on Sloviansk, damaging more than ten private homes.
In addition, Russian troops carried out a targeted strike on a private residential building in Kramatorsk, killing four people and injuring two others.
Russian forces also attacked Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, where a civilian woman was killed as a result of shelling.
