Russia lost 1,000 troops in the war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff

Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have reached approximately 1,293,170 personnel. Over the past 24 hours alone, another 1,000 invaders were eliminated.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to updated data, the Russian army has also lost:

  • tanks – 11,808 (+1)
  • armored combat vehicles – 24,287 (+9)
  • artillery systems – 38,863 (+68)
  • multiple launch rocket systems – 1,700 (+2)
  • air defense systems – 1,337 (+0)
  • aircraft – 435 (+0)
  • helicopters – 350 (+0)
  • Tactical-level UAVs – 200,611 (+2,222)
  • cruise missiles – 4,491 (+0)
  • ships and boats – 33 (+0)
  • submarines – 2 (+0)
  • Vehicles and tankers – 85,569 (+217)
  • Special equipment – 4,100 (+0)

The General Staff notes that these figures are approximate and continue to be refined.

Over the past 24 hours on March 26, 133 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, during which the Defense Forces continued to deplete the combat potential of the occupying forces.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements across the entire front line.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
