Russia conducts airstrike on Sloviansk — parents killed, their son injured
On the morning of 27 January, at 04:30, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in Donetsk region.
This was reported by the city’s mayor, Vadym Lyakh, via his Telegram channel.
The attack involved KAB-type aerial bombs, which directly struck private residential areas of the city.
According to preliminary information, several homes were hit. At least five private houses were damaged, two of which were completely destroyed.
Rescue teams arrived immediately at the scene to clear the rubble, under which people had been trapped. Three residents were rescued from the debris.
Tragically, the strike resulted in casualties. A young boy was injured and is currently receiving medical care in hospital. His parents, however, could not be saved — they died on the spot when their home collapsed, according to the local military administration.
Earlier, enemy drones attacked passenger minibuses in Zaporizhzhia, and the occupiers also targeted energy infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk region.
