Russia has concentrated 710,000 soldiers for a breakthrough on the front

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that Russia has amassed forces of about 710,000 troops for a strategic offensive against Ukraine.

The statement was made during the 32nd meeting of the Defense Contact Group in the “Ramstein” format.

The situation on the front remains tense, as the enemy continues attacks despite huge losses.

Ukrainian forces are demonstrating resilience, having pushed occupiers out of Kupiansk. Active reconnaissance and strike operations allowed them to take control of almost 90% of the city, a key success that thwarts enemy plans in the north.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have been attempting assaults for over 17 months but have made no breakthrough. Ukrainian forces regained 16 square kilometers in northern Pokrovsk and recaptured 56 square kilometers near Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Udachne.

On December 10, Ukrainian forces stopped a column of enemy mechanized vehicles with precise strikes, causing the attack to fail.

As a reminder, Ukrainian forces pushed Russian troops out of Kupiansk and took control of nearly 90% of the city.

Additionally, UAF drone operators in Zaporizhzhia are continuing to wear down Russian forces.
