Russians attacked a truck with a drone in Zaporizhzhia: the driver suffered burns

Russian troops attacked a truck with a drone in one of Zaporizhzhia’s districts. The driver was injured in the strike.

According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the man suffered burns to his limbs. Medical personnel quickly arrived at the scene and provided him with the necessary care.

The head of the Regional Military Administration also reported that Russian troops carried out more than a thousand strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Sixteen people were injured in the shelling, including one child.

As a reminder, on the night of July 8, strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a military airfield in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast, Russia. This airbase is home to aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which are used for both combat and training missions.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reduced the strength of the Russian army by another 1,260 troops. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on enemy losses as of July 8, also reporting the destruction of a significant amount of enemy equipment.
