Russians shell fire station in Dnipropetrovsk region (photo)
Russian forces struck the building of a fire and rescue unit in the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The aggressor attacked several districts of the region, while the extent of the damage and possible consequences for personnel are currently being clarified.
This was reported with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
According to the SES, rescue workers were not injured.
Due to the enemy attack, a fire broke out in a residential area. Private homes, outbuildings and passenger cars were damaged.
In addition, overnight the aggressor attacked several other districts of the region:
- In the Kamianske district, two men were injured. Transport infrastructure was damaged.
- Kryvyi Rih also came under a massive attack, with several fires breaking out at an infrastructure facility.
- In the Nikopol district, a residential building was damaged as a result of shelling.
Two people were injured as a result of the attacks.
Earlier it was reported that Russian forces shelled a village in the Kharkiv region, killing a woman.
Previously, it was also reported that the Kharkiv region declared a state of emergency in the energy sector.
Railway infrastructure in the Kharkiv region was also damaged due to Russian shelling.
Seven communities in the Kharkiv region came under enemy attacks.
