Russian shelling damages Railway in Kharkiv region

In the Lozova district of Kharkiv region, Russian shelling damaged railway infrastructure and power lines. As a result, trains are unable to operate on their usual routes, and passengers traveling to Kramatorsk are being transported by buses. Repair crews are working on-site to restore transport as quickly as possible.

The head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reported the situation on February 16.

Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) confirmed that train service on the damaged section in Lozova has been partially restored.

“However, from Lozova toward Kramatorsk, passengers are currently asked to use buses. The service ‘Proliska’ provides free transportation and registers all passengers before boarding; we ask for understanding regarding this procedure,” the company said.
