The Russians shelled the center of Nikopol with artillery
On August 27, Russian troops launched an artillery strike on downtown Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Five people were injured as a result of the shelling.
This was reported on Telegram by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Five people were injured. The enemy attacked downtown Nikopol with artillery. Educational institutions, stores, cafes, banks, and cars were damaged,” he wrote.
It is noted that two of the victims—a 55-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man—have been hospitalized in serious condition. A 71-year-old man is also in the hospital; doctors assess his condition as moderate. Two other victims will be treated at home.
