Russians strike Kherson region again — one dead
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces continued attacking populated areas in Kherson Oblast, using drones, aircraft, and artillery, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported.
The strikes were again aimed at civilians and critical infrastructure. One person was killed in the latest attack.
Dozens of settlements across the region came under fire — from frontline villages to the city of Kherson itself. The attacks hit Tomyna Balka, Borozenke, Dudchany, Sukhanove, Inhulka, Antonivka, Sofiivka, Prydniprovskyi, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Novoraysk, Yantarnyi, Dniprovske, Veletenske, and Rozlyv. Other affected settlements included Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Burgunka, Zmiivka, Kozatske, Lvivove, Mykilske, Odradokamyanka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, and Chervonyi Mayak.
According to Prokudin, Russian forces deliberately target civilian infrastructure. In Kherson city, a multi-storey building was damaged, while four private homes were destroyed in various communities across the region.
Shells also destroyed part of a gas pipeline, a private garage, and a mobile communications tower, causing disruptions to utilities and communications.
Earlier reports noted that 138 drones were launched at Ukraine, 110 of which were destroyed.
