Russian army loses another 690 occupiers in one day
The total personnel losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 28 January 2026 amount to approximately 1,236,570 people. Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have eliminated another 690 occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
As of 28 January, Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 11,609 (+0) enemy tanks, 23,958 (+4) armoured combat vehicles, 36,713 (+22) artillery systems, 1,629 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,286 (+0) air defence systems, 434 (+0) aircraft, 347 (+0) helicopters, 117,724 (+1,012) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 4,205 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) ships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 76,102 (+77) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,053 (+2) units of special equipment of the Russian army.
The occupiers have begun using new “Upyr-18” drones on the frontline.
Russian FPV drones struck Sloviansk, injuring two teenage girls.
Earlier, it was reported that eight people were injured as a result of shelling in frontline regions.
Russian forces also attacked volunteers and medics in Kharkiv region, leaving fatalities.
