A Russian attack damaged residential buildings in Odessa

As a result of yet another nighttime attack by Russian forces on Odesa, the Khadzhibey district of the city sustained significant damage.

Enemy shelling caused private cars to catch fire and sparked a blaze on the balcony of one of the high-rise buildings, resulting in injuries to civilians.

Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported that the number of casualties has risen to three.

All the injured received prompt medical attention: two people were hospitalized, and the third victim will undergo outpatient treatment.

According to preliminary data from monitoring groups, approximately 250 windows were shattered and 25 balconies were damaged in the residential area.

In addition, four balcony structures were completely destroyed by the strikes and the blast wave, indicating the significant force of the impact.

Despite the extensive damage to the facades, utility services managed to maintain stable electricity and water supply to the buildings.

However, for safety reasons, specialists were forced to temporarily shut off the gas supply until the inspection of all internal networks is complete.

Since the air raid alert ended, over 100 utility service specialists have been working at the scene.

Special equipment has been deployed to speed up cleanup efforts, helping to clear the area of debris and construction waste.

Rescue workers and utility crews are currently focused on sealing the broken window openings with plastic sheeting and wooden shields.

To support local residents whose property was damaged by the shelling, the authorities have set up a mobile “Resilience Center.”

There, Odessa residents can warm up, charge their mobile devices, and receive up-to-date information regarding compensation for damaged property.

As a reminder, Russia attacked energy infrastructure with drones, leaving seven regions without power.
