Three volunteers were wounded in the Kherson region following a Russian drone attack
Russian occupation forces continue to carry out targeted attacks against the civilian population in the Kherson region, using unmanned aerial vehicles.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
As a result of yet another attack by an enemy drone, three volunteers and an elderly man sustained injuries of varying severity.
The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. when an occupier drone dropped explosives directly onto a group of volunteers.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration’s statement reads: “Around 10:20 a.m., three volunteers were injured as a result of an enemy drone attack.”
Police officers responded promptly to the incident and transported the victims to a medical facility.
The victims of the attack were men aged 56 and 31, as well as an 18-year-old youth. Doctors diagnosed all three victims with concussions and blast injuries in various parts of their bodies.
The oldest member of the volunteer group sustained additional shrapnel wounds, resulting in his hospitalization in moderate condition.
Almost simultaneously with this shelling, the enemy attacked the suburbs of the regional center.
Around 10:15 a.m., Russian troops dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a 69-year-old local resident. The man was on the street when the explosion occurred, resulting in severe health consequences.
The injured pensioner sustained a serious blast injury and numerous shrapnel wounds to his head, torso, and upper and lower limbs.
An ambulance crew transported the Kherson resident to the hospital, where medical staff are currently working to stabilize his condition and providing all necessary care.
