Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure and a residential building in the Odesa region
On the morning of June 8, Russian occupation forces launched another round of strikes against civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region.
As a result of the enemy attack, damage was reported to an energy facility in the southern part of the region, and a drone struck a residential area in the city of Chornomorsk.
Emergency and utility services promptly began work at the sites of the strikes.
According to official information from Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, equipment at one of the energy facilities in the southern part of the region was hit.
The shelling caused localized power outages for over a thousand residential and commercial customers.
Large-scale emergency repair work is currently underway at the damaged site to restore power to residents’ homes as quickly as possible.
