Russian troops damaged two more schools in the Shevchenkivska community in the Kharkiv region
Over the past weekend, Russian occupation forces launched attacks on educational institutions in Novomykolaivka and Starovirivka in the Kupianskyi district.
This was officially reported by community head Serhiy Starikov, who emphasized the deliberate destruction of the region’s social infrastructure.
According to the community leader, the aggressor continues to “cynically destroy” educational facilities. The situation with educational institutions in the Shevchenkivska Territorial Community is currently critical, as nearly all of them have suffered damage of varying degrees.
The scale of the damage is staggering: of the eleven schools that were operational before the full-scale invasion began, ten have already been rendered inoperable. This accounts for over 90% of the community’s entire educational network.
Serhiy Starikov clarified that two schools have been completely destroyed and are “beyond repair” in the future. The other eight institutions have significant structural damage, which will require major repairs or complete reconstruction of the buildings.
It is worth noting that over the past 24 hours, the Kharkiv region has been under intense fire.
The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (KABs) and strike drones, resulting in reported injuries among the civilian population.
Shelling of the Kupianskyi district is systematic, making it impossible for children to stay safely within school walls.
Local authorities continue to document every instance of damage for future lawsuits in international courts.
As a reminder, a Russian drone attacked a car in the Sumy region, injuring teenagers.
Russian troops also launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region.
