Power went out in the Zhytomyr region following an attack by Russia

In the Ovruch community of Zhytomyr Oblast, infrastructure facilities have been damaged as a result of Russian shelling, and a complete power outage has been reported.

This was reported by the Ovruch City Council on Facebook.

Community officials noted that the enemy is targeting critical infrastructure, resulting in a temporary power outage. As a result, classes have been suspended, and resilience centers are being set up for residents.

At the same time, enemy drones were detected in the region’s airspace moving toward the Korosten district. According to regional authorities, the nighttime attack caused a fire in a private home and a farm building, which has already been extinguished. Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties.

As a reminder, a well-known nature reserve came under fire during a Russian night attack on the Odesa region. As a result of the shelling on the night of April 17, a fire broke out on the territory of the Danube Biosphere Reserve.

On the night of April 15, three people were injured in Dnipro and the surrounding region as a result of Russian drone strikes, and damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
