Russian troops advanced in Hryshyne and Huliaipole — DeepState
Russian occupation forces have made advances in several sections of the front, in particular in the areas of Hryshyne and Huliaipole.
This was reported by analysts of the monitoring project DeepState.
According to their data, in the Pokrovsk direction the enemy is trying to develop an offensive, using its advantage in manpower. In the Huliaipole area, the situation has worsened due to attempts by the enemy to improve its tactical position and break through the defense line of Ukrainian troops.
Analysts note that the enemy maintains the initiative in the Huliaipole area, constantly carrying out infantry assaults, sometimes involving armored vehicles. In particular, recently Russian troops delivered about 20 soldiers on two pieces of equipment to a forest on the northern outskirts of Sviatopetrivka.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the pressure. Active combat operations are ongoing in the settlement of Berezove, where Ukrainian units are trying to clear the village of Russian infantry. However, the enemy is resisting and constantly exerting pressure.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of early March, the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions remain among the hottest sections of the front.
The situation there is characterized by a high intensity of fighting. In just one day, 45 combat engagements were recorded in the areas of Huliaipole, Myrne, Zaliznychne, and Dobropillia.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers also continue active assault operations, trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops. Numerous attacks have been recorded in the areas of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, and Myrnohrad.
The General Staff emphasizes that the situation remains difficult, but Ukrainian soldiers continue to repel attacks and inflict significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
The Defense Forces struck key Russian air defense facilities and drone control points.
It should be recalled that in the Kupiansk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a camouflaged MT-LB and enemy drones.
It was also reported that drones attacked the “VNIIR-Progress” plant in Cheboksary in the Russian Federation.
