Russian drone hits truck carrying firewood in Izyum, killing two men
Two men aged 52 and 67 were killed when a drone struck a ZIL truck in the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.
The UAV attack took place today, 5 December, when the men were standing next to the vehicle while unloading firewood, according to the National Police.
The impact on the truck's cab caused a fire at the site of the strike.
Police are currently investigating the scene, collecting evidence and documenting yet another crime committed by the Russian military against Ukrainians.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, an 88-year-old man was injured during night attacks by Russian troops. Over the past day, the enemy has launched hundreds of strikes on peaceful settlements, damaging dozens of houses. This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the region.
At night, Russian troops carried out massive strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Consumers in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa regions were left without electricity.
