Russian commander brutally abuses subordinates — video emerges
The army of the aggressor state continues to use brutal methods of torture and extrajudicial punishment. A video has surfaced online showing a Russian officer abusing his own subordinates, accusing them of attempting to flee their positions and disobeying orders.
This was reported by Russian media.
The footage shows two soldiers stripped and tied to trees. The situation is worsened by harsh weather conditions, with snow on the ground and freezing temperatures.
Details of the “disciplinary process”:
- Torture in the cold: One punished soldier is tied to a tree in a vertical position, while the other is hung upside down.
- Verbal abuse and accusations: The Russian commander, using offensive language, shouts insults at his subordinates and accuses them of desertion from the battlefield.
- Treatment of personnel: The video provides further evidence that the Russian army shows no respect for human dignity, with “discipline” maintained through fear and torture.
Such cases of internal punishment (“summary justice”) are becoming increasingly common within Russian units, amid low morale and widespread unwillingness among troops to participate in high-casualty assaults.
Meanwhile, on the front line, nearly fifty clashes were recorded in a single day, with the heaviest fighting near Pokrovske.
In Kharkiv, the number of people injured in the massive drone attack on the night of 24 January has risen to 27. Earlier, on 19 January, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs.
