Enemy launches repeated attack on DTEK energy facility in Odesa
On the night of 27 January, Russian forces once again attacked an energy facility operated by DTEK Odesa Power Grids. According to preliminary information, the damage is significant.
This was reported by DTEK’s press centre.
The company said the destruction is extensive, and repair work will require a considerable amount of time to restore the equipment to operational condition.
“Our teams began emergency repair and restoration work after receiving clearance from rescue services and the military. Specialists are inspecting the equipment, clearing debris and then proceeding with repairs,” DTEK said.

It was also reported that at 08:05 on 27 January, an emergency situation occurred at equipment belonging to another energy company. As a result, customers in Odesa District were temporarily left without electricity, including parts of the Perysyp and Khadzhibei districts of Odesa.
Specialists are already working at the sites to eliminate the malfunction, restore power to critical infrastructure facilities and return electricity to people’s homes as quickly as possible.
Earlier, Russia carried out a massive drone attack on Odesa, using more than 50 drones and injuring 23 people.
Russian forces have also withdrawn from Oleksiivskyi Island due to active operations by Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
The pace of Russia’s advance in Ukraine has slowed to its lowest level in the past year.
