The SBU and the Special Operations Unit struck an FPV drone manufacturing facility and UAV warehouses near Taganrog

On the night of September 12, Ukrainian forces carried out an operation in the Taganrog area of the Rostov Region. Among the targets struck were an FPV drone manufacturing facility and UAV warehouses, according to the SBU.

Drones from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center successfully struck:

  • two UAV storage warehouses;
  • an FPV drone manufacturing facility;
  • a “Pantsir-S2” anti-aircraft missile and gun system;
  • a fuel and lubricant storage tank;
  • a P-18 “Terek” radar station.

Fires were reported at all the targeted facilities.

“The destruction of production and storage facilities for UAVs and FPV drones reduces the Russian military’s ability to use them against Ukraine. This is a direct response to Russia’s massive attacks, during which the enemy launches strike drones to terrorize and target our country’s civilian infrastructure,” the SBU emphasized.

As a reminder, overnight, Ukrainian drones reached a chemical plant in Togliatti and an automobile plant in Taganrog.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: Russia, as an aggressor state, will face a response if it launches strikes against Ukraine’s energy system this winter.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of Ukrainian long-range strikes aimed at weakening Russia’s capacity to wage war against Ukraine. Specifically, Ukrainian strikes hit targets in Dagestan and Udmurtia.

The Brave1 platform has developed an air defense system capable of destroying Russian “Banderole” drone missiles. Importantly, it is significantly cheaper than the targets it destroys.
