Sybiga Responded to Russian Attacks on International Businesses in Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga responded to the latest Russian attacks on international businesses operating in Ukraine. Specifically, he referred to Russia’s double attack on a logistics facility serving McDonald’s.

“Russia’s relentless attacks are disrupting the daily lives of Ukrainians, damaging businesses, jeopardizing jobs, and undermining international investment. This proves that Russia does not want this war to end. It wants the whole world to pay the price for its terror,” the foreign minister emphasized.

Andriy Sibiga called on Ukraine’s international partners to maintain and intensify economic pressure on Russia.

According to him, tightening economic restrictions is necessary to reduce Russia’s ability to continue the war against Ukraine.

The minister stressed that Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure and businesses create additional risks for international companies operating in Ukraine, as well as for jobs and foreign investment.

Sibiga reported this on social media.

In the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region, the civilian population is facing an acute shortage of food, water, medicine, and medical care. According to reports, people are forced to survive by eating grass and weeds, and children are among those living in such conditions.

In Oleshky, Kherson Oblast—which is temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, the aggressor state—residents report a critical shortage of food, water, electricity, and medical care.

About 2,000 people remain in the occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region, facing serious difficulties in accessing food. Tetyana Gasanenko, head of the Oleshky City Military Administration, said that two men were killed while trying to return to the city to bring food to their families.
