Sibiga accused Russia of attempting to destabilize Europe following the incident involving the Danish helicopter
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga responded to the incident near Denmark, during which a Russian frigate fired two signal flares at a Danish helicopter.
Sybiga called the Russian military’s actions provocative and unacceptable and expressed solidarity with Denmark.
According to the foreign minister, this incident is part of Moscow’s broader efforts to destabilize the situation in Europe.
“Moscow continues its attempts to destabilize the situation in Europe. Joint and decisive action is needed, and Ukraine is ready to make every effort to help strengthen Europe’s defense against threats from Russia,” Sibiga stated.

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador following an incident involving a Russian frigate that fired two signal flares in the direction of a Danish military helicopter.
The Russian ambassador in Copenhagen claimed that it was the Danish military helicopter’s maneuvers that allegedly “provoked” the Russian frigate.
