Ukrainian defence forces control part of Pokrovsk, says CSD

Ukrainian defence forces continue to control part of the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast.

This was reported on Telegram by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation.

‘Part of the city of Pokrovsk is under the control of the Ukrainian defence forces,’ he said.

The command of the 3rd Army Corps also refuted the lies of Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov about an alleged ‘breakthrough’ in Lyman, Donetsk Oblast.

The 11th Army Corps also refuted Russia's claims about the alleged ‘capture of Klinove.’ They noted that such information leaks are part of regular Russian propaganda, which has been ongoing since the beginning of the war against Ukraine.

In addition, the Centre for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine refuted false reports about Russia's alleged ‘complete control’ over both banks of the Oskil River in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region.

The Centre also noted that Russian attempts to occupy Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia direction had failed.

Analysts from the DeepState project reported on Ukraine's new territorial losses on the front line. Russian invaders occupied the settlements of Balagan, Solodke and Zatyshshya.

Russian troops attempted to break through the Ukrainian front in the Zaporizhzhia region and occupy the city of Huliaipole, but all enemy attacks failed.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops began to actively use new tactics to combat Ukrainian drones.
