Ukrainian Forces Eliminate Russian Boxer Turned Soldier
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have killed Russian serviceman Nikolai Nikolayev, a former professional athlete from Tolyatti.
Before joining Russian forces, Nikolayev was a professional boxer. He was a multiple-time winner of regional and national tournaments and held the rank of Candidate Master of Sport.
He competed in the 75 kg weight category.
Ukrainian forces killed Nikolayev on March 8, 2026.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported killing another 1,520 Russian troops over the past day.
Ukrainian forces have also eliminated foreign mercenaries from Nigeria who had been recruited by Russia.
