Defense forces struck the United Russia headquarters in occupied Melitopol
On the night of August 24, the Defense Forces struck the headquarters of the Russian “United Russia” party in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol.
According to available information, the occupiers had set up their headquarters in the seized premises of the former “Foxtrot” shopping center on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue. The Russians used a significant portion of the building for party events and as a warehouse.
Explosions had previously been reported near this building. The occupying authorities referred to the facility as “civilian,” despite its use by Russian entities.

As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces attacked a train station in the Kharkiv region with a drone while a passenger train evacuating people was stopped there. Two women were killed in the strike, and five others were injured.
On August 23, Russian terrorist forces attacked Ukraine’s railway infrastructure five times. One person was killed and four others were injured as a result of the strikes.
On August 23, Russian forces attacked the locomotive of passenger train No. 147, traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa, with a missile-equipped drone. The train was stopped and passengers evacuated before the strike, so neither passengers nor railway workers were harmed.
