Defense forces repelled the Russians near four villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region
Ukrainian defense forces have pushed back Russian troops near the villages of Maliivka, Sichneve, Novogeorgievka, and Zaporizke in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. This was reported by analysts from the OSINT project DeepState.
According to their data, as a result of successful operations by the Ukrainian military, approximately 33.4 square kilometers of territory on the border between the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions—which had previously been designated as occupied—has now moved into the so-called “gray zone.”
Specifically, Novogeorgievka has fully transitioned to the “gray zone,” while Maliivka and Zaporizke have partially done so. Changes have also been recorded in the Komyshuvakha area in Donetsk Oblast and the villages of Vorone and Ternove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
DeepState noted that the reduction in territory controlled by Russian troops was the result of successful operations by the Defense Forces. At the same time, analysts emphasize that Russian units still remain in rear areas, so final confirmation of the liberation of these territories will be released later.
Meanwhile, in the Sumy sector, according to the project, Russian troops have expanded the “gray zone” by approximately 3.5 square kilometers toward the villages of Korchakivka and Nova Sich. However, there is no indication that the area of occupied territory has increased.
